Early Hours Arrival

As fast as we arrived, we found ourselves leaving Istanbul behind, flying eastward into the heart of the night, landing in Dubai for the first proper stop of our trip.

The clock read 3 a.m. A quick Uber ride became an unexpected tour of shimmering, architectural marvels lining the streets.

We were more than ready to arrive at the Rose Rayhaan. The hotel staff, especially a friendly and quick-witted chap despite the early hour, checked us in seamlessly. We then took a rapid elevator ride up 35 floors to find our very welcoming 'standard room.' Stepping across the threshold, we were instantly impressed—it was far from standard, feeling instead like a luxurious, high-rise suite

With only a few precious hours until our Dubai adventure truly began, it was time to catch a few hours sleep.
