Bruges

On another sunny morning and our last full day in Belgium, we set off to explore Bruges.  It’s another pretty place with the canals weaving their way through narrow, cobbled streets. 

The buildings are both medieval and Flemish, the main square is one of the largest we’ve seen and dominated by the city hall with the belfry close by. 

The lovely weather and the bank holiday weekend in Belgium attracted the tourists; the place was heaving!
