Sometimes there’s a reason you just have to go somewhere… can’t say I “James” wanted to visit Innsbruck but was left with no option.
A chance to cross paths with our eldest daughter Rebecca meant Innsbruck it was!

What a fabulous short, but lovely time we had sharing a jar or two and chatting about recent touring adventures over schnitzel followed by apfelstrudel, simply perfect.

Innsbruck lived beyond expectation, beautifully picturesque, sunny and warm with views of more snow-capped mountains and the lovely river Inn. The evening landscape did not disappoint with twinkling lights of ski chalets high above.

Just watching the world go by was a pleasure but it goes without saying sitting alongside more graffiti, not sure we will ever understand or get used to what appears an acceptable part of European society. Promise no more mentions of graffiti.
Onward to Germany a new country and a new experience.

How lovely for you to be in beautiful Innsbruck with blue skies, sun and Rebecca! Brings back memories of youth and Innsbruck on a shoestring but also with blue skies and sun, as photos show. Happy journey onwards! x
