Monaco, Nice and Cannes.

Yesterday was truly lovely, after quickly dropping bags off at the hotel, we took a few minutes to savour some French pastries before heading off to the Principality.   It was fantastic to see all the magnificent boats in the harbour however the stroll up to the Palace and the view from there, down across the bay was stunning.  Clearly a spectacular place to hold a Grand Prix and preparations were happening all around.

Nice and particularly the Promenade des Anglais was lovely, although not impressed with the seagull that took a cheeky bite from our sandwich!

To top both Monte Carlo and Nice, feet up in the sunshine, on the prom back in Cannes was special.

Someone even took the opportunity to have a paddle.

On reflection, a short but sweet visit to the south of France as we head to Genoa, Italy 🇮🇹
