After five different trains and four and half hours, we finally arrived in Stresa on Lake Maggiore and it’s definitely worth the time and effort! The lake surrounded by small villages with a backdrop of mountains is simply stunning.
Strolling by the lake in the beautiful sunshine, pausing for a drink and watching the world go by; it doesn’t get much better.
