Rosenheim - Bavaria

We made a conscious decision given the busy previous week that we’d stop off the beaten track for a few days.  Arriving in Rosenheim and not knowing very much about it was different and probably what we needed.

A short stroll found us in a busy square with lots of bars and restaurants, the vast majority populated by locals enjoying the afternoon sunshine, indulging in the local Bavarian brew.  There was only one thing to do…  as they saying goes “When in Rome!”

So glad you enjoyed Saltzburg! Memories of a wonderful city invoked. I was there even before the Sound of Music! Hope you finished that large whatever it was 🤔🥗🥮🍔. Enjoy the next stage of your journey safely xx

The large thing was a Bavarian take on a pizza, it has a very thin base (almost like layered filo) with cream cheese and whatever topping, often with potato. (Flammkuchen) It was delicious!

The weissbier was delicious Terry, best so far! No dancing yet, but James has consumed some vodka this evening 😂. X
