Salzburg a day trip back into Austria

Well feet up lasted a single afternoon and was followed immediately with a day trip from Rosenheim back across the German/Austrian border.

Sunday afternoon in Salzburg was beautiful. The sunshine, the flowers, the river Inn (again) the castle and the buildings all so wonderful.

Mozart’s birth place is so very much worth a visit and its atmosphere, its “je ne sais quoi,” so different, so hard to explain… perhaps that is what we expected to find in Vienna?
